On Saturday, the Windy City celebrates Saint Patrick's Day with its largest parade of the year. The annual ritual is kicked off by dyeing the Chicago River a bright green. Since the actual tint is orange, legend has it that leprechauns magically transform the river color to kelly green. Cotons are equally enchanting!
The puppies were happily settled in their forever homes the last weekend in January...just before Chicago's 2011 blizzard. Since Valentine's Day was around the corner, a few sweet 10 1/2 week old photos of Alinea and Mon Ami Gabi were taken before leaving the nest.
Another Taste of Chicago puppies were 10 weeks old the last Wednesday in January. A few special moments were captured during that snowy, winter day. Coton puppies are so adorable at this age!
Windy City Coton is located on Chicago's North Shore. It is only a 25 minute drive from the heart of the city and within walking distance of Lake Michigan. Our small family of Cotons enjoy, both, urban and suburban environments--dashing after squirrels and taking leisurely walks to greet people at the commuter train.
As a Code of Ethics Breeder for over 20 years, we are devoted to protecting the unique traits, quality and authenticity of the Coton de Tulear breed through education and research.
Puppies are nurtured in our home as members of the family. We have occasional litters which are normally reserved prior to birth. After the birth of a litter, our time is specifically dedicated to guidance of our future owners and rearing happy, healthy, beautiful Coton puppies.
